Role Description:
The Senior Procurement Manager will spearhead global procurement initiatives across the entire organization, encompassing all business units and regions for both direct and indirect sourcing. This role entails developing and implementing procurement strategies, defining and deploying standardized processes, and fostering organizational development and leadership within the procurement function. The Senior Procurement Manager will ensure alignment with the company’s business model, strategies, and financial goals, prioritizing cost containment, risk mitigation, and process efficiency.
In addition, this position aims to cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, serving as the subject matter expert in supply market analysis, negotiation strategy, and effective supplier management. The manager will provide strategic guidance on organizational spending while offering tactical support to ensure that third-party purchases align with business objectives.
A key requirement for this role is the ability to drive organizational change. Collaborating with business unit leaders and strategic suppliers, the Senior Procurement Manager will elevate the company’s sourcing and procurement performance on a global scale. This includes leveraging existing best practices from various departments and offering thought leadership to adapt and implement innovative approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global sourcing and procurement initiatives to empower internal stakeholders across business units, ensuring they maximize value from third-party supplier partnerships.
- Establish clear Procurement goals, metrics, and action plans aligned with organizational objectives to drive performance and accountability.
- Identify and recommend solutions to business challenges, fostering collaboration with organizational peers to effectively implement improvements.
- Drive enhancements in purchasing processes and systems to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.
- Manage supplier relationships proactively, focusing on improvements in cost, risk mitigation, and the quality of deliverables.
- Identify and resolve supplier-related challenges promptly to maintain seamless operations.
- Lead competitive bidding and supplier negotiation efforts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Oversee the selection and approval process for new suppliers, ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Legal team to ensure comprehensive supply agreements are established and maintained.
- Promote a structured approach to competitive bidding, supplier selection, and contract approval, ensuring thorough vetting and execution.
- Facilitate effective contract management, including robust document control and monitoring of supplier agreement expirations, terminations, or renewals.
- Provide detailed spend analytics to support informed decision-making and fulfill the purchasing needs of internal business units.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards and policies for third-party purchases, maintaining oversight and governance.

Qualifications
- 6-7 years of comprehensive experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management, including 2 years in IT.
- Proven leadership in directing sourcing and procurement functions, establishing strategic oversight for third-party acquisitions of goods and services.
- Expert in developing and executing detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of business objectives.
- Exceptional presentation skills, effectively engaging with executive leadership to communicate strategies and outcomes.
- Strong collaborator, able to work with cross-functional stakeholders at all organizational levels to achieve common goals.
- Customer-focused mindset, skilled in influencing and driving actions that align with business needs while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
- Analytical aptitude for understanding key cost drivers and interpreting financial data to provide actionable business recommendations.
- Resilient under pressure, managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities with ease.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering effective partnerships with business partners, suppliers, and regional teams.
- Expert negotiation abilities, achieving optimal outcomes in vendor agreements and contracts.
- Demonstrates integrity and reliability in all professional interactions.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
