We’re looking for you, a meticulous, curious, and adaptable senior Front-End Engineer with the ability to translate pixels into code. You can work closely with Product Owners, Designers and other Engineers. On top of this, you are a cooperative person, supporting and promoting knowledge sharing is part of your way of doing things.
Your role will focus on designing, testing, and implementing user-facing software applications, with a strong emphasis on front-end development. For this reason, it’s expected that you’re comfortable with front-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will include building responsive and interactive user interfaces, collaborating on design decisions, optimizing performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and writing tests for front-end components.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Front-End Engineer
- Familiar with React framework
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and Typescript
- Proficiency using CSS pre-processors (Sass and/or LESS)
- Familiarity with Component-Driven Design and using tools like Storybook to build and test components in isolation
- Familiar with version control systems such as Git
- Good understanding of English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Understanding of cross-browser and device compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Ability to integrate web services (RESTful, JSON)
- Understanding of Vite as a front-end build tool, particularly in React and TypeScript environments
- Expertise in unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests with frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright to ensure robustness and maintainability of code
