About the Role
Soracom is seeking a talented Content Marketing Specialist capable of producing high-quality content at scale, helping us to raise awareness of our brand in the market and increase inbound demand for Soracom’s products and services.
In this role, you will operate as an individual contributor and occasionally work with internal resources to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience. This is a diverse, tactical role, where you will be hands-on copywriting for one minute and coming up with visual assets to enhance engagement the next. Therefore, we are seeking someone highly proficient at juggling multiple tasks and working well within a team to deliver results.
This is a new role within the European Marketing function at Soracom and an opportunity for someone ambitious to develop it into a crucial part of our team. Key Responsibilities
- Produce a wide variety of content types that drive awareness and generate demand for Soracom’s IoT Connectivity Platform and device portfolio. You will develop and own the content plan yourself and execute this plan in line with our broader marketing strategy and business priorities.
- Manage Soracom’s SEO pipeline in Europe to produce great content that ranks for relevant keywords. Carry out competitor analysis to find new SEO opportunities and work with external writing resources to elevate our Organic Search strategy.
- Take ownership of Soracom’s email marketing strategy in Europe, delivering news about our product, devices, content, and campaigns directly to our prospects’ inboxes.
- Support our events strategy with custom content production when required, including our webinar content as well as our IRL events strategy.
- Produce enablement material and collateral that helps our Sales team communicate Soracom’s unique offering more effectively on customer calls.
- Build custom landing pages on the Soracom website to host content and act as a destination for promotional activity,
- Maintain Soracom’s existing ecommerce product listing pages and work with our product team to create new pages as our portfolio grows.
Requirements
Key Experience
- Excellent copywriting skills with demonstrable experience in producing high-quality blogs, ebooks, customer case studies, and ad copy.
- A versatile individual who can produce different content in different mediums to enhance engagement and knows how to create messaging that lands well with a tech-driven audience.
- At least 3 years of marketing experience at a tech B2B business, ideally in the SaaS or IoT space.
- Experience communicating with audience segments via email marketing.
- Demonstrable experience ranking on page 1 in Google SERPs for keywords with at least 500 searches per month.
- Experience producing customer testimonials and creative short-form videos to drive engagement via social channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with previous experience communicating with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions to the marketing team.
- Ability to collaborate with the product, marketing, and sales teams to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience and supports product launches and promotional campaigns.
Desired experience
- Experience with Adobe design suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Successful completion of Hubspot’s Inbound Certification Course
- Good HTML and CSS capabilities
- An eye for good design and excellent copywriting
- Experience working remotely alongside different people from different cultures, spanning multiple timezones
- Experience with A/B testing to improve conversion and engagement rates
