Vice President of Marketing
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Marketing Leader to lead and oversee our marketing team. As the VP of Marketing, you are responsible for pipeline generation, some of which will be directly driven by marketing sources (i.e. inbound, outbound, events, etc.) and some of which are marketing influenced. You will play a crucial role in hitting our contracted revenue goals, leading and shaping an innovative marketing team, and guiding our overall Actabl growth.

Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Build a marketing organization that is tailored for long term growth of Actabl to achieve $150M in CARR
- Lead teams including Product Marketing Managers, Marketing Operations & Demand Generation, Events, and Partnerships
- Develop and execute effective strategies for team development, goal setting, and performance management.
- Support and empower the team to achieve their objectives and deliver outstanding results.
Pipeline Growth:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s pipeline strategies
- Measure performance of events, campaigns, and all marketing activities against influence, last tough pipeline metrics, and ROI metrics
- Focus on building awareness in our ICP and naming the direct improvement in awareness and drivers of improvement.
- Drive continuous innovation in how we are reaching our customers
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide input on business development strategies, market trends, and new product/service offerings.
Thought Leadership and Branding:
- Guide where Actabl is positioned in Hospitality industry and within technology companies within hospitality
- Build overall brand messaging that flows through different industry events, campaigns, and our overall positioning.
- Deep understanding of our customer and ICP personas. What messaging is working and what needs to be tweaked.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales and Rev Ops, to identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success team to help maximize customer use, value, and satisfaction of our platform
Requirements
- Proven success as VP of Marketing in a SaaS environment and preferably hospitality space.
- Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with experience building high-performing marketing teams across multiple marketing disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, seamlessly transitioning from high-level strategic planning to hands-on execution.
- Proven track record of delivering business outcomes in a multi-product environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across various departments, influencing and integrating feedback from diverse teams to drive cohesive and aligned marketing initiatives.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: The target salary range for this position is ($190,000 – $230,000), and is part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus and employer-paid benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
