What you’ll be doing:

The Marketing & Communications department drives powerful storytelling through marketing initiatives that increase the size and impact of our service, volunteer community and expand engagement with our core audiences.    

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement to support our revenue, texter, and volunteer growth goals. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to manage campaigns, develop content, and ensure seamless marketing project management from ideation to delivery.

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing creative marketing initiatives, producing high-quality copy, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, project management expertise, and a passion for driving impactful campaigns and initiatives.

  • Drive critical marketing projects and campaigns from the briefing and creative stage, through internal socialization, to activation.
  • Help build cohesion across the external and volunteer-facing brand touchpoints.  
  • Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels to meet business goals and KPIs.
  • Write compelling, brand-aligned content including campaigns, blogs, emails, ads, and landing pages that engage target audiences.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery, proper documentation, resource allocation, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, audience needs, comparative strategies, and incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
  • Analyze campaign performance and report on metrics, using data to optimize marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with our various teams to build marketing initiatives and materials to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to shaping the marketing vision and strategic approach for partnerships and individual giving from a short/medium/long-term perspective.
  • Contribute to shaping the marketing vision and strategic approach for our volunteer program and objectives.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts are consistent with the brand’s voice, positioning, and visual identity.
  • Create and implement strategies to drive lead generation, conversion, and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign management, content creation, and project management.
  • Strong acumen for marketing strategy, tactics, and execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work streams with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong sense of creativity to develop innovative marketing campaigns and content.
  • Ability to think through and solve complex business problems with creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience in producing copy for various digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust campaigns.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce), analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), project management software (Asana, Monday.com) and Search Engine Optimization software (e.g. SEMrush, Yoast SEO)
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills to manage deadlines, budgets and deliverables.
  • Experience working in cross-functional departments and using influence to motivate productive teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the nonprofit space.

Reliable High-Speed Internet Required: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.

The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $67,452 – $93,250 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location. We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
