About the Area
Data team mission is to support data-driven decision making at QuintoAndar. It is composed of Data Analysts (DAs), Analytical Engineers (AEs), and Data Platform Engineers (DPEs) who work closely to build and maintain an organized analytical environment and provide analysis and insights to the business areas. This open position is specifically for the Data Analytics chapter.
Tech Lead Manager Responsibilities At QuintoAndar
- Build a strong team, helping with talent recruitment, retention and career development;
- Be a technical reference within the team and also to the rest of the chapter;
- Structure analytical projects together (problem, task, solution) based on the stakeholders’ macro questions regarding the business.
- Understand our business model and be a reference in data analysis tools and techniques (SQL, Python/R, forecasting, clustering, tracking, metrics monitoring, etc);
- Support in defining and monitoring the right metrics to achieve business goals;
- Use prediction and prescriptive methods to support decision-making;
- Be an internal influencer towards a data-driven culture;
- Bring new technologies/techniques that enable high-impact business opportunities.
- Be the reference focal point for Product team and other business areas regarding data and analytics
Requirements
- You have extensive experience leading and forming analytical teams;
- You are fluent in SQL and at least one programming language for data analysis (Python, R, Julia, etc.);
- You can identify highly complex problems, use business knowledge, statistical/econometric tools, and a data-focused programming language to formulate and validate hypotheses, generate insights, and guide stakeholders to make the best decision in line with the company’s strategy. A high level of analysis quality is expected, and no validation from the manager is required;
- You have experience designing, implementing and analyzing experiments (e.g.: A/B Testing);
- You have experience working with any Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Superset, etc);
- You have good interpersonal skills;
- You can read materials, write studies and present them in English.
