The Senior Manager of HR Systems, Compliance, and Total Rewards is a multifaceted role responsible for overseeing phData’s HR/People Ops systems, guiding compensation and benefit programs and helping to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple HR functions effectively. The Senior Manager will report to the VP of People Operations and work cross functionally to support the organization’s People Ops objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Management, implementation, and optimization of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR-related technology solutions: Lattice, Enboarder, Paycom, and Greenhouse preferred.
  • Lead HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Ensure that HR systems are effectively supporting the organization’s HR processes, data management, and reporting needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Utilize a data-driven mindset to identify key People Operations metrics that drive insights and inform decision-making to support long-term growth objectives.
  • Lead with best practices and proven methodologies for process improvement, scalability, and automation to support long-term growth objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the organization’s immigration processes, including visa applications and compliance with immigration laws.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to personnel. 
  • Maintain and update HR systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in HR,  with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Hold a professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, etc).
  • A strong track record of delivering results with HR systems, compensation, benefits, immigration, and compliance.
  • Experience managing HR systems, including leading implementations and integrations.
  • Experience designing and managing salary structures and other compensation/benefit programs that are competitive and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
