Acentra seeks a Director of Market Strategy and Solutions to join our growing team

Job Summary:

The Director of Market Strategy and Solutions will work across Acentra Health to develop solutions to meet market and client needs for care management and clinical assessment opportunities. Key activities include deal solutioning for pipeline opportunities, developing new solutions, and working with the Market Strategy and Solutions team to further enhance Acentra Health’s solutions.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Healthcare business solutions leader who can create winning solutions in the care management and point of care for the clinical marketspace
  • Responsible for understanding RFPs, policy documents, and other materials, identifying requirements, developing process flows, forecasting volumes, finding partner organizations, and planning operations in order to design solutions to propose to customers
  • Develop business requirements for use by both business and technology teams for design and estimation purposes

         Broad experience in healthcare including working with Medicaid, Medicare, public health, government programs, health

plans, and other stakeholders

  • Development and delivery of presentations for internal and external audiences from doers to the executive team        Work as a team player in a matrix environment including partnering with the proposal team, business development, subject matter experts, finance, human resources, government affairs, operations, technology
  • Ability to think strategically as well as work in the details including developing work product and review of others work product curiosity to always be learning and asking questions
  • Ability to solve problems including making assumptions; be comfortable working with uncertain criteria to arrive at a solution 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time when no two projects are the same
  • Ability to work within a team and willingness to jump in and assist to complete proposals  
  • Other project work as needed for the Market Strategy and Solutions team

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years experience in healthcare solution development
  • Knowledge of care management operations including call center, utilization management, case management, clinical assessments, reporting, fulfillment, etc.
  • Experience designing and implementing point of care clinical operations programs for state and federal clients
  • Skills: project management, business analysis, data analysis, process development, research, writing, developing forecasts,

Preferred Qualifications/Experience: 

  • Preferred skills: consulting, implementations, solution architecture, proposal development, market research
  • State and federal RFP / proposal work for a healthcare organization
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare policy

Compensation 

The pay range for this position is $119,016-$166,600

“Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
